COMBATING THE NASTIES:

At a Board meeting today, a full two hours was taken up with a discussion on how to combat the bashers, liars and frauds that seem to permeate Internet chat rooms. From my point of view “ignore” is the operative word. For the most part, chat room participants, especially those in the financial sector, are a pretty smart lot. Sooner or later they will figure out their fellow chatters, those who are trying to destroy a stock and those that are truly seeking advice on investing and experience from others.

Surely, in the days of Sarbanes-Oxley know one can believe that an Officer of a public company can make, suggest or even hint at, a statement that is untrue or un-reported in a public document. I can not think of a single instance where an action taken by an Officer of Med Gen, that can affect the trading of its stock or the conduct of its business, has gone un-reported either by a filing of a required SEC report or the publishing of a News Release. As a matter of fact, we are probably over-communicating both the good and the bad and lately, there are plenty of both to report…..more on the good side.

So, to set the record straight on a number of issues.

  1. There is NO insider trading… Selling or buying.
  2. PR is disseminated only in publicly issued releases.
  3. Conversations with Shareholders or potential investors are limited to already published and publicly available information.
  4. All financial information is audited unless specifically noted.
  5. Financial information can be easily obtained on www.edgar.gov
  6. Reliance on financial information put out by Internet sites is often stale and unreliable.
  7. The company does not buy or sell its shares unless required filings are made and publicly announced.

Hopefully this message will be used, as it should be, to dispel false information and allow for an honest discourse amongst those who have taken an interest in the company.

Our employees care about the company and its shareholders. They strive everyday to make things happen, they can’t guarantee that it will, but they try. Every investor that calls our offices is treated with the kindness and consideration that we also think we deserve. Like you, we want to win!

Kindest regards,
