Instead of taking a pill to diminish your pain, now you can roll your pain away. Pain relief roll-ons are topical analgesics in a liquid form. The roll-on is designed to target painful areas quickly and with little to no side effects. Following this year's World Cup Soccer Tournament, topical pain relievers are growing in popularity. Like professional athletes, we all need quick pain relief without the unwanted side effects.
Pain relief roll-ons, like MedGen's PAINenz, are more convenient for some as no water is needed to take a pill. So how do they work? Pain relief roll-ons are applied directly to the painful area of the body. PAINenz is an all natural pain reliever that also works as an anti-inflammatory medication. The pain relief roll-on contains a local anesthetic that works to temporarily block the pain signal pathway. Stimulating the pain receptors at the ends of nerves causes pain. Following this stimulation, sodium enters the nerve ending and causes an electrical signal to build up in the nerve. When the electrical signal is big enough, it passes along the nerve to the brain where it is interpreted as pain.
Pain relief roll-ons work by stopping the sodium from entering into the nerve ending, virtually nipping the pain process in the bud.
If you are using a pain relief roll-on:
--Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Directions for proper use will be included on the PAINenz packaging.
--You should avoid using the PAINenz roll-on if you have open wounds or skin irritations.
--If the pain continues or you experience fever, headaches, nausea or vomiting, see your doctor.
--Pain roll-ons may cause numbness in affected areas.
